Allen's Newest "Eatertainment" Destination: Chicken N Pickle
Allen, Texas, has a new spot for food and fun with the recent opening of Chicken N Pickle at The Farm, a sprawling mixed-use development. The venue, which officially opened on May 13, 2025, brings its unique "eatertainment" concept to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, combining a chef-driven restaurant with the booming sport of pickleball and other yard games.
The heart of Chicken N Pickle is its extensive recreation space. The venue boasts six indoor and two covered outdoor pickleball courts, allowing for year-round play regardless of the weather. Guests can reserve courts, take lessons, or participate in open-play sessions. Beyond pickleball, the complex offers a variety of classic yard games like cornhole, giant Jenga, and ping pong.
The "chicken" in the name is a nod to the kitchen's focus on high-quality, responsibly sourced rotisserie chicken. The menu features a range of handcrafted dishes, from the signature rotisserie chicken plates to sandwiches, salads, and shareable appetizers. A full-service sports bar offers craft cocktails and local brews to complement the food and fun.
Chicken N Pickle is more than just a place to eat and play; it's also a community hub. The company is known for its philanthropic efforts and regularly hosts events and fundraisers for local charitable organizations. With a full calendar of events, including live music, trivia nights, and pickleball tournaments, the Allen location promises to be a vibrant and welcoming spot for the community.
Chicken N Pickle is located at 1221 Johnson Rd, Allen, TX 75013
